El Teleférico San Bernardo es uno de los íconos de Salta, por su fantástica vista panorámica que brinda de la ciudad. Comenzó a construirse en el año 1987 y se puso en funcionamiento en diciembre del año siguiente.

Inicia su recorrido en el parque San Martín. En sus 10 minutos, recorre 1016 metros y 9 estaciones, con una diferencia de altura de 284.90 metros. En la cima del Cerro San Bernardo (de ahí su nombre) se puede visitar la galería de compras, degustar la mejor gastronomía y disfrutar de la imponente cascada artificial diseñada con hormigón, que tiene un sistema de bombeo que permite transportar el agua desde la base del cerro hacia la cima.

San Bernardo cable car: prices and schedules

The San Bernardo Cable Car is one of the icons of Salta, due to its fantastic panoramic view of the city. Construction began in 1987 and it was put into operation in December of the following year.

It begins its tour in the San Martín Park. In its 10 minutes, it travels 1016 meters and 9 stations, with a height difference of 284.90 meters. At the top of Cerro San Bernardo (hence its name) you can visit the shopping gallery, taste the best cuisine and enjoy the imposing artificial waterfall designed with concrete, which has a pumping system that allows water to be transported from the base from the hill to the top.
